The Puppy Foundation course is as set by the Kennel Club and is aimed at providing socialisation for puppies and start their journey in becoming a well-mannered dog.  This course is for puppies from 8 weeks’ old up to 12 months’ old.  

 

The course includes: - 

• Attentive Response to name  

• Play with the Puppy  

• Socialisation to noises, dogs, unknown adults 

• Puppy Recalls 

• Loose Lead Walking  

• Basic puppy positions  

• Introduction of stay in one place  

• Food manners  

 

We also introduce other aspects of training within this course including: - 

• Leave It  

• Watch Me  

• Settle on a mat 

• Wait through doors
